The Band

River of Suns came about from hours spent on the Southern California coast. Friends since they were 7 years old, Topanga native Padric Payton and Napa Valley transplant Asa Anderson take the name from the stream of light which reflects over the ocean during sunset. Contrasting the nature that deeply inspires the band's creative process, the music also incorporates gritty urban sensibilities. What results is a brand of soulful pop rock with clean hooks, a deep pocket and highly spiritual and emotional content...
